The Legion of Mary was founded in Dublin, Ireland on September 7, 1921. It is a lay catholic organization whose members are giving service to the  Church on a voluntary basis in almost every country. The object of the Legion of Mary is the glory of God through the holiness of its members developed by prayer and active co-operation in Mary’s and the Church’s work.

Do you yearn for a deeper relationship with God? Are you seeking personal growth in your faith? Every week the Legion of Mary group meets at St. Margaret Mary Parish. We are a prayer service group. We do community service, teach religious education classes, distribute Communion, make home and hospital visits, pray the rosary at nursing homes and funerals and many  other services. Our meetings  consist of prayer, spiritual reading  and discussion. We support each  other on our journey through life  to our God. We are welcoming,  so stop in for a visit. Our  meetings are held every Thursday at 2:00pm in Friendship Hall in  the AA room. All are welcome  and we hope to see you soon!
