Care Ministry is a personal response to God's unconditional love and is a lay pastoral ministry program of the Diocese of Green Bay. Care Ministers make the commitment to meet with an assigned Care Receiver for weekly one-on-one meetings that provide a caring, faith-filled presence to those who are facing crises, dealing with trauma, loss, or personal dilemmas. At St. Margaret Mary it is our goal to prepare parish lay volunteers to provide pastoral care ministry that will support those volunteers through educational programming, to empower them through ongoing training, spiritual development and support for the ministry entrusted to them.
