Funeral Meal Ministry

New Funeral Meal Ministry volunteers are always accepted and appreciated!  

This ministry does require a bit of hard work, but it is the MOST rewarding!  We are looking for people who can work with a smile, show a loving gesture, give a helping hand or a hug and make people feel welcome and at home.
Most hours needed for volunteering are during the day time.

Volunteer Description:

• • Volunteers assist with setting up tables, preparing beverages, serving food, and cleaning up after funeral meals. No cooking is required as meals are catered.
  • The typical shift lasts 3 to 3.5 hours and may involve standing, walking, and lifting.
  • Volunteers are contacted by text or call to confirm availability, and flexibility is offered for those unable to complete a full shift.
  • Around 8 volunteers are needed per funeral, with more required for larger gatherings.
