Catechesis:
Holy Week and the celebration of the Resurrection of Jesus is the highest and most holy events of our liturgical year. We focus, remember, and celebrate Jesus’ triumphant entrance into Jerusalem, his Last Supper with his friends and family, how he washed the feet of his apostles, his crucifixion, and his most glorious triumph over death---his Resurrection. These days are entered into with great reverence, joy, and sadness. We take time to reflect on Jesus’ sacrifice for us.
